THE School
concept
The Summer School on Energy “Giacomo Ciamician” is a five-day residential course where participants learn the fundamentals of the main energy technologies, while becoming aware of the complex technological, economical, and social issues that make energy such a formidable challenge, but also a source of many new opportunities.
Founded in 2010 under the leadership of the University of Trieste, the School gathers researchers and industry experts to share their vision and expertise with the participants. The friendly and relaxed environment of the School, immersed in the superb setting of the Dolomites, facilitates frank discussions and a direct exchange of opinions and experiences between participants and instructors.

We look for dynamic and smart people, willing to challenge themselves and to take on the challenges and opportunities that the world is now offering.
The main target of the school are students near the end of their educational path, in particular master (“magistrale”) and doctoral students, as well as young professionals, and young entrepreneurs. However, diversity is a value for the School, and applicants at all career stages are encouraged to apply.
